  • Cool Cats in the Gallery

    Cool Cats in the Gallery
    The Waterville Area Humane Society will have kittens and cats available for adoption and doubling as models for drawing sessions in the gallery, located on Main Street in Waterville. Participants are welcome to keep the drawings or donate them to the Humane Society for display in their lobby space. People with interest in adopting a cat or kitten are also welcome to visit during that time. $5 donation for the Waterville Area Humane Society. If you adopt a cat that day, Loyal Biscuit will have a congratulations basket with some free samples, a cat toy, and an educational pamphlet on how to care for your new family member! You can also buy food to donate to the shelter at 10% off!

    http://www.walkingthedawg2018.comnnWalking The Dawg - A Festival for Mutts & Music. nAll day family fun outside at the Alfond Center family playground area on North Street in Waterville. This park includes a playground, grills and picnic area and fields of grass. Our event will benefit two great community causes - Humane Society Waterville Area and Artists Supporting Artists. 10:00 am to 4:00 pm 10:00 am Pet Parade ($5.00 entrance fee) all pets must be on a leash or in a cage for those non dawg pets :) and will be voted on throughout the day for the award ceremony that will take place at about 3:45 pm. Awards will go to *Best Dressed Dawg, *Homeliest Dawg *The Mutt Congeniality Award *Best Non Dog Award and *Voters Favorite Pet. Prizes will be items donated by sponsors and vendors. Vendors will include many that offer pet/animal related products and services and also any music and art related products or services. We are just getting started but already we have a few vendors and sponsors lined up. Visit our site page for updates to the list. http://www.artistssupportingartistsme.org/wtd-sponsors-and-vendors We also will be having a live music concert with Nashville Recording Artist JR Garritt and friends including local bands from 1:00 to 3:45pm. Line up includes Storm Kicker, Five Shadow, Spin & Spark, solo artists Danica Cayouette, Jasmine Marie Dodge, and Brian C. *All vendors must provide their own table and tent if desired. Vendor/Sponsor application will be added to this event page. We are accepting applications until May 15 so we can get everyone on the written program. Please help us spread the word, If mutts and/or music interest you mark yourself as interested and stay up to date on additions and information and if you plan to bring your pet for the parade and voting mark yourself as attending so your friends know to come and vote for you and your pet ♥
